It took a little less than 10 mins to assemble, and it came fully charged, so they got to ride it practically as soon as they opened the box.
I love everything about this scooter, and so do my kids. I wanted an electric scooter for them so they can ride it to school while I jog behind, but I didnt want them zooming down the street so fast that they couldnt look for cars backing out of the driveways. With them being 6 & 7 I wanted to make sure that they werent going to fast to where they got hurt ig they fell off. This scooter is perfect.
It has 2 speeds, and the top speed is usually what they use, which is a great pace for me to jog/run after them. There is no throttle and the motor is initiated once they start scooting.
The school is a little over 3/4 mile from our house, and they stop at the park for about 45 mins after school before heading home and the battery is still going!
