- Use original battery packs, or use other models or brands may bring about safety issues.
- Do not touch the contacts. Do not dismantle or puncture the casing. Keep the contacts away from metal objects to prevent short circuits which may result in battery damage or even injuries and deaths.
- Use the original power adapter to avoid potential damage or fire.
- Mishandling of used batteries may do tremendous harm to the environment. To protect the natural environment, please follow local regulations to properly dispose of used batteries.
- To maximize battery life, It is better to charge to 85 percent.
- If possible, charge the battery as close to the ride as possible, which reduces battery stress by not having the cells sit at full capacity for an extended period.
- If you’re storing the bike for a few months, a 40 to 70 percent charge is ideal. Check the battery at the beginning of every month. If the battery drops to 20 percent or lower, give it a booster charge to return to the 40 to 70 percent range.
- Do not ride in the rain.
